What’s wrong with using cash like we always have in this league? Again richer teams have more advantage, you get rich buy having good teams.

All in the suggestion of a more realistic league. In my opinion using cash encourages not as many teams to bottom out. Should create more parity, and more active members.

I would argue the opposite is true. Allowing teams to re-sign a bunch of their own UFA's reduces parity and waters down the UFA pool, thus making it harder for bottom feeders to get top end talent. This would create less activity. For a league talking about contraction instead of expansion, we need rules that help build activity in the league and a strong UFA pool would help.

I’m not saying 10 resigns. More trading activity in allowing UFA rights to be traded as well, should increase GM interest.

The bolts are a perfect example of why a strong ufa helps everyone. The team i took over had no futures to trade but solid additions in ufa helped push me into contention.

I looked in the rules and don't see or remember the piece you're talking about - it's something different than loyalty, correct? If so, wouldn't you need to sign them at their old salary (before retention)? How does that help you when half your UFAs were from retained salary transactions?

When have I said anything about my own team? Any of my proposals wouldn’t have helped my team. Lol

I hate the resigns personally and it killed the ufa market. Good riddance. Also allowing resigns to be traded was a super unrealistic thing imo.

As a compromise maybe allow teams to loyalty every 2 years instead of 3?

I think this would further water down the UFA market.
