4.2.2 Loyalty Factor
a) During the off season, teams will be allowed to designate one (1) of their UFAs as their Loyalty once every three seasons. This Loyalty designation will allow teams to sign their Loyalty player in exclusivity during the RFA Pre-Signing Period.
b) Loyalty players cannot be added in the offseason but rather must be property of the team by trade deadline.
c) Loyalty privileges cannot be traded or accumulated.
d) Loyalty signings are based on previous GVFHL salary not NHL;
e) In case the players contract was subject to a salary retention before, the regular salary will be used and not the reduced one
f) Loyalty signings are subject to a premium based on the following multipliers:
